At Forest Classics Log Homes we believe in being good stewards of the materials harvested for our use. We reclaim standing dead timber from forests throughout the Western United States. The timber has died from natural causes which allows it to dry while still standing. Shrinking and checking of the logs occurs long before the log is used to build your home.

We also utilize recycled and reclaimed materials whenever possible.

Our log homes can be up to 20% more efficient than frame built homes. The logs act as a natural insulation. There is no need to add anything to the exterior walls of our log structures. Our homes use less energy, water and natural resources.
